Diploma, Curtis Institute. Studied with John Krell, William Kincaid, and Marcel Moyse. Principal piccolo, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra since 1969. Flute, Baltimore Choral Arts Society, 1992-97. Performances with the Toronto Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, Pennsylvania Ballet Orchestra, Lyric Opera, Grand Opera and Cosmopolitan Opera companies. Master classes at Peabody and Curtis Institute. Published articles in Flute Talk magazine. Chairman, National Flute Association Piccolo Committee, 1994-98. Coordinator, NFA Piccolo Artist Competition, 1999-present.
