Proper Citation Styles
Documenting sources correctly is not difficult. There can be a steep price for ignoring this—this is one reason that everyone should take the extra time to cite sources properly. (Of course there are many better reasons!)
It can be a simple matter—just follow the model. The two most common styles are clearly modeled on these links:
- The Chicago Manual of Style (Chicago/Turabian)
- Modern Language Association (MLA) (another MLA link)
- American Psychological Association (APA)
These links should make it easy for you to fulfill Peabody's expectations for proper documentation in your work. And remember, a writing consultant can help you to work with these websites—contact one for assistance.
