Jobs/Opportunities/Competitions

Bridge

Via the Bridge database, you can discover selected performance positions, jobs in higher and secondary education, and openings for arts administrators; you can learn about competitions, awards, internships, festivals, and more.

  • Bridge logon information (JHED ID required). Follow this link to visit a restricted page where Peabody students can view the user name and password required to access Bridge. (Current students only; alumni may purchase individual subscriptions here.)
  • Bridge logon page. If you already know the requisite user name and password, follow this link to log onto Bridge. (Note: You don't use a JHED ID to log onto Bridge but enter a distinct user name and password, which you obtain from the logon information page.)

Opportunities in Maryland/DC

Bridge lists extensive opportunities, but isn't fully comprehensive, so we also maintain an online listing of local opportunities. In addition, for students interested in organizing self-produced concerts or researching prospective presenters in the Maryland/DC area, we publish a list of Places to Perform.

Other Search Tools

The following sites can uncover further opportunties; many also publish career advice. Scroll down to your area of interest. Also visit our Professional Resources page for more career development resources. Use of these tools is crucial to a thorough job search. Bear in mind that we can't discover a full range of opportunities by merely Googling because job announcements are often posted on sites that either aren't crawled by search engines or aren't highly ranked.
