Opportunities in Maryland/DC
Students & Alumni: Use the menu at left or click on the links below to explore opportunities primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. To conduct a comprehensive job search, use our Job/Opportunity Search page to access diverse databases. Also visit our Facebook page, where we post nearly 2,000 announcements each year about opportunities worldwide.
Employers: Thank you for your interest in our world-class conservatory! We post on this site, free of charge, local job, internship, and competition notices that we deem of interest to Peabody students. For jobs, the compensation must be in line with established standards (e.g., for church jobs, compensation should be commensurate with the guidelines of the American Guild of Organists). Our internship policies are posted here.
If you're unsure whether your opportunity fits our guidelines or student population, please contact us at email@example.com and we'll be glad to assist you. Note that, as a free service, we reserve the right to decline to post notices.
Guidelines to Create and Submit Job Vacancy Notices: To notify us of a local job or internship, please email announcements to firstname.lastname@example.org and include all of the information requested below.
You might send us a link to notice on your website, email us a Word document, or paste text into the body of an email. Please format text in a manner consistent with other vacancy notices on our site. We ask that you do not send PDF documents because the text they contain isn't suited to copying and pasting, and we do not print, post nor distribute paper notices.
