DMA Colloquium
The Musicology Colloquium provides opportunities to hear guest lecturers speak on musicology topics and their expertise and focuses on developing writing and critical thinking abilities. The colloquium was first established in the late 1980s by Piero Weiss. Other conservatories and universities have since modeled their series and programs on ours. Doctoral of Musical Arts students are required to enroll in the Musicology Colloquium during their first year.
