Music History (6 credits: choose two)
Students may enroll in Music History seminars after successfully passing the Music History Entrance Exam or Music History Intensive I and II (610.601-2). Music History Intensive courses do not apply towards this requirement.
Music Bibliography (2 credits: one class)
Music Bibliography (610.651) is required of all Masters students.
Academic Electives (6 credits: two classes)
Students choose academic electives in consultation with their advisor. Eighteenth-Century Theory and Practice (710.666) is recommended. Independent study is also an option. No more than three credits may be earned in courses that are not music courses.
