Centre Street Complex, Rooms 10 and 11 410-234-4560

Jobs are available at Peabody for students who are enrolled full-time in a degree program. Students are responsible for seeking available positions at the beginning of the academic year. Information on departments who hire students at Peabody and descriptions of positions is available on the Student Affairs website and at the Human Resources/Payroll Services Office.

Employment is available through the Federal Work Study Program and through the Internal Student Employment Program (ISEP) for those not awarded Federal Work Study. Packets containing important information and the required employment program forms are available at the Human Resources/Payroll Services Office. Students are not authorized to work and will not be paid until approved by the Human Resources/Payroll Services Office.

The Human Resources/Payroll Services Office processes the payroll for all students working at Peabody. In order to be approved for employment, each student must complete new hire paperwork with the payroll coordinator. This paperwork must be completed, in person, prior to the student's first day of work. At that time the student must be able to present: 1) a valid passport with Form I-94, I-20, and visa, as necessary; or 2) a valid driver's license and social security card or birth certificate (photocopies of documents are not acceptable). These documents are needed for the Employment Verification Form (Form I-9), which is required by law. Students claiming exemption from state and federal taxes must fill out new tax forms annually in January for that calendar year. A reminder email will be sent to all students each January.
