Concert Office
Grand Arcade, Level M1, Room B07C
410-234-4891
The Concert Office is responsible for coordinating the scheduling of special events, degree and non-degree recitals, receptions, lectures, master classes, and competitions. This office arranges all the logistics involved in the use of the performance and rehearsal halls on campus. Also, the Concert Office is in charge of supplying ushers and stage crew for all public events including major concerts, faculty artist recitals, operas, and special events.
On Wednesdays, the Concert Office distributes a bi-weekly calendar detailing the activities scheduled in the halls and the responsibilities of other operations on campus that support the events scheduled. The deadline to schedule any activity that needs to be included in this bi-weekly calendar, including rehearsal times in the halls, is four weeks in advance of the requested date. The Concert Office establishes the guidelines and procedures that govern recital program formats, the use of concert facilities, and the employment of ushers and Concert Office student staff.
Students receive this information at the time they schedule their recitals or seek employment as ushers or Concert Office staff. For policies and procedures regarding Degree Recitals, visit the website at www.peabody.jhu.edu/84.
