All full-time students are required to carry adequate health insurance coverage for themselves and their dependents. The Johns Hopkins University has developed a comprehensive health insurance plan through Aetna Student Health that includes hospital, surgical, and major medical benefits. Membership in this plan is mandatory for all full-time students, unless a student provides evidence that he or she has existing equivalent health insurance coverage.
