James Galway Flute Festival Award
Canada native Christian Paquette was named the first recipient of the of the James Galway Flute Festival Award at the Marina Piccinini International Summer Masterclasses this summer. The award marks the beginning of an exciting new partnership that will enable one participant of the Piccinini master class each year to attend the Galway Festival in Weggis, Switzerland on full scholarship. Recently, Marina caught up with the Galways and Paquette during her guest appearance at the festival. The entire MPISMC team would like to thank Sir James and Lady Jeanne for their generosity, vision, and their many contributions to the global flute community.
