Peabody Information Technology

Peabody Information Technology (PIT) manages the data and telephone infrastructure , the computing centers in Unger Lounge and Leakin Hall, and most of the desktops around campus.

In conjunction with SCIS ( Steering Commitee for Information Services), PIT establishes and administers policy that is set forth by SCIS, Peabody and Johns Hopkins where they pertain to general uses. The Steering Committe for Information Services is a body that includes the Conservatory Dean, the Prepatory Dean, Peabody's Information Technology Director, Associate Director of Public Information, Associate Dean of Finance and other notable representatives of faculty and staff.
