How to get to Peabody
FROM THE NORTH:
Take Interstate-95 or I-83 (Harrisburg Expressway) to I-695 West, the Baltimore Beltway. From the Beltway, take I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway) into the city. Take the Guilford Avenue exit in downtown Baltimore. Turn right at the first traffic light (Madison St.). Turn left at the 2nd traffic light onto St. Paul Street. You will see a park and monument on your right after a block. To enter the Peabody garage, continue ˝ a block past the park, and turn right into the garage.
FROM THE WEST:
Take Interstate 70 to I-695 South (towards Glen Burnie), the Baltimore Beltway. Exit at I-95 North, and follow the “From the South” directions below.
FROM THE SOUTH:
Take Interstate 95 North to the I-395 exit. Follow 395 towards Downtown. At the first light take a right onto Conway Street. Turn left onto Charles Street. After about 12 blocks, the Conservatory is on your right (at the monument). To get to the parking garage, turn right at the monument onto Mt. Vernon Place. Take the next right onto St. Paul Street.

Garage open Monday through Friday 6:30 am – 9:30 pm; Saturday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm; Sunday 12:30 pm - 5:30 pm
up to 2 hours: $4.50
up to 3 hours: $5.50
up to 4 hours: $6.50
maximum per day: $8.00
Garage Special: Monday - Friday in after 4pm until close is $5.00; - flat rate is $4.00

GETTING TO PEABODY FROM BWI AIRPORT:
When you arrive at the Baltimore/Washington International Airport, check with the ground transportation desk in the baggage area. There is a “Super Shuttle” service that leaves every twenty minutes for various destinations (there may be longer wait times). The shuttle costs about $21.00 per person one-way ($12 for each additional person). The shuttle will drop you off at Peabody or your hotel. You can also take a BWI Taxi to Peabody for roughly $30-35 (this is an approximate rate). The actual rate will very depending on location. Maryland law prohibits flat rates. For more information visit www.bwiairporttaxi.com. Another option is the Light Rail, which leaves the airport every 20 minutes. The fare is $1.60 each way, and total travel time can be estimated at 45 minutes. The closest stop to Peabody is on Centre Street, about 3 blocks west of Peabody. You could also take the MARC or Amtrak trains from BWI rail station to Penn Station in Baltimore . The MARC train cost is $4.00. For Amtrak schedule and fairs check www.amtrak.com. MARC and Light Rail information can be found at www.mtamaryland.com. Taxicabs are available at Penn Station, and will get you to Peabody for about $6.00.

GETTING TO PEABODY BY TRAIN:
The Amtrak trains run into Baltimore’s Penn Station, located 8 blocks north of Peabody. A Taxicab will get you from Penn Station to Peabody for about $6.00. The University shuttle bus also stops at Penn Station and provides free transportation to Peabody.
