Peabody Piano Week is an immersive and dynamic festival designed to take your piano playing to the next level. Whether you’re a middle school, high school, or college-aged musician, this intensive week-long program offers a comprehensive learning experience that will elevate your skills, broaden your horizons, and unlock your potential as a musician.
Guided by renowned Peabody faculty members and guest artists, you’ll engage in personalized instruction, participate in enriching masterclasses, and attend a specialized “Musicianship for Pianists” course. Each day, you’ll have dedicated practice time to apply and reinforce what you’ve learned.
Beyond individual growth, Peabody Piano Week fosters a vibrant community of musicians. In the evenings, enjoy captivating faculty recitals, gain inspiration from diverse repertoire, and connect with fellow pianists. The week culminates in a student recital, where you can showcase your newfound skills and artistry.

American pianist Michael Angelucci enjoys growing acclaim as an artist with a unique and gifted voice. Hailed as “a great artistic talent” by the A&B Foundation, his compelling craft has won national and international accolades including First Prize in the Bradshaw and Buono International Piano Competition, First Prize in the American Prize National Competition, and the coveted Foundation La Gesse Fellowship, among others.
Dubbed by Gramophone as “…a superb, confident technician and an intelligent stylist, who doesn’t have to prove anything…”, American pianist Chad R. Bowles has performed hundreds of solo recitals across the United States, in Canada, and Europe.
Timothy Hoft is an Associate Professor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he teaches solo and collaborative piano. A pianist of unique versatility, Timothy Hoft has been praised for his recent performances.
Hyun-Sook Park earned the Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University, under the tutelage of Ellen Mack. She is currently on the faculty of the Peabody Conservatory as an adjunct professor of piano pedagogy, and serves as the co-director of the Preparatory’s Peabody Piano Academy.
Alexander Shtarkman performs and gives master classes in Europe, Asia, South and North Americas, and in Russia where he is a frequent guest performer at the prestigious Great and Small Halls of the Moscow Conservatory. Since 2002 Shtarkman has been serving as a member of the Piano Faculty at the Peabody Conservatory.
