Directions

The downtown campus is located on the 600 block of North Charles Street, at the intersection of Mt. Vernon Place and the George Washington Monument. The Peabody Garage is located on the right side of St. Paul at the corner with Centre Street.

From I-83/Jones Falls Expressway: Take the St. Paul exit and continue south on St. Paul Street. The parking garage entrance is located on the right side of St. Paul Street just before the intersection at Centre Street. Limited street parking is available in the evenings on St. Paul Street and Mt. Vernon Place.

From I-95 North: Follow signs toward Downtown Baltimore (I-395). Turn right on Conway Street. Turn left on Charles Street. Continue north on Charles Street until the 600 block north. Turn right onto East Mount Vernon Place. The secured entrance to the Peabody is located at 21 East Mount Vernon Place. Limited street parking is available in the evenings on Charles Street and East Mount Vernon Place. For access to the parking garage, after you turn right on East Mount Vernon Place, take the first right onto St. Paul Street. The Peabody Garage is located on the northwest corner of St. Paul and Centre Streets.

From I-95 South: Take I-95 South to 695 East (Baltimore Beltway). Take 695 West to I-83 South (Jones Falls Expressway). Follow directions from I-83 above.

Parking

All Preparatory students receive a discounted price of $2 per park in the Peabody Garage during the times listed below. Discounted parking is available Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and during normal garage hours on Saturdays and Sundays while classes are in session. If your parking slip indicates that you entered outside the hours listed above, you will not receive the discount rate. To receive the discount rate you must present your student ID card with your parking slip when you exit the garage.

Please note: If there is a sign saying "Garage full, admitting monthly permit or coupon holders only" - Preparatory students may still park (provided it is during the hours listed above and space is available). Please indicate to the garage attendant you are a Preparatory student.

For those only needing to drop-off or pick-up a Preparatory Student, the garage offers parking free of charge, provided the vehicle exits the garage within 15 minutes of entry.

Dining

The Peabody Café offers a friendly and comfortable dining environment with all-you-care-to-eat meals served buffet style. The Café is the perfect place to catch up with friends while you venture to one of the many stations serving anything from made to order international fare, mouth watering grilled items and crispy salads to classic deli sandwiches and hot home-style entrees.
