Young Children’s Program
(Ages 3-6)
June 18–July 28 (six weeks)
The Young Children's Program for 3-6 year olds begins to build a foundation for more in-depth technical training. This program offers two distinct levels of training for children. Creative Dance for 3 and 4 year-olds will set a strong foundation for more formal dance study by strengthening movement/locomotion skills and flexibility and by stimulating rhythmic awareness and expressiveness. Introduction to Ballet 1 and 2, for 5 and 6 year-olds, approach basic fundamentals of ballet (placement, port de bras, footwork, and simple vocabulary).
3 year-old students: placement class needed.
New 4 year-old students: NO placement class needed. Register for Creative Dance
New 5 year-old students: NO placement class needed. Register for Introduction to Ballet 1
New 6 year-old students: placement class needed.
