
Harp
Ages 5 and up
The harp is an instrument that can be studied from as early as age five through adulthood. At this time, beginning through advance levels of instruction is available at the Downtown and Towson Campuses only. No prior musical experience is required. A limited number of rental instruments are available for home use.
Private lessons are available for students of any experience background, from complete beginners through advanced levels of study. Harp Ensemble is offered to students age 13 and older.
Preparatory Harp students are winners of numerous competitions and are active members of many orchestras including Johns Hopkins Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Youth Orchestra, and The Annapolis Shakespeare Company. Peabody preparatory students are also performing with The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra through the “Side by Side” project.
