Teodora Adzharova

Teodora Adzharova, born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, began her piano studies at age 7. By the time she graduated from high school, the young pianist was a winner of many national and international piano competitions in Bulgaria, France, Germany, Macedonia and The Czech Republic. Adzharova holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from University of Central Arkansas, where she studied with Neil Rutman. She was awarded a full scholarship and won several competitions, among which is the Clara Wells Scholarship that allowed her to study extensively with the world-renown teacher Aiko Onishi. In May 2011, Adzharova completed her Master of Music degree at the Peabody Conservatory, where she studied with Ellen Mack. Currently, she is working on her Graduate Performance Diploma at the Peabody Conservatory, where she is also employed as a full-time graduate assistant, teaching keyboard skills, as well as theory to undergraduate students.
