Zoë Johnstone

Zoe JohnstoneZoë Johnstone has been a professional guitar teacher since the age of 16. She recently taught two masterclasses at the downtown Branch of the Peabody Preparatory, and as a member of the 1 East Guitar Quartet has taught masterclasses at Radford University, Moravian University and Peabody Preparatory.  As a private instructor, she has taught at various schools throughout the Baltimore DC area, and was selected as an artist-in-residence of the Nevada State Arts Council from 2002 to 2006.   She has performed both as a soloist and a chamber musician at various colleges and universities in the area, as well as Lincoln Center, Artscape 2006, Long Island Guitar Festival 2006 and Guitar Weekend hosted by the Connecticut Classical Guitar Society 2006.  Ms. Johnstone holds a masters degree from The Peabody Conservatory and a Bachelors degree from The Eastman School of Music.  Her awards include a Grant from the Staten Island Arts Council and prize in the 1st National Guitar Summer Workshop Collegiate Competition.

Ms. Johnstone teaches at the Annapolis campus.
