Jung-Eun KangJung-Eun Kang, a native Seoul, Korea, graduated from The Korean National University of Arts, where she studied with Choong-Mo Kang. She has won many competitions including the grand prize in the Samic Competition in Korea, the Washington D.C. Catholic University Competition, the Elizabeth R. Memorial Competition, and the Russell C. Wonderic Memorial Competition. She is also a recipient of the Pauline Favin Memorial award at Peabody. Ms. Kang has been frequently performing throughout major concert halls in Korea. Also, her performances have been broadcast on KBS.

In Baltimore Ms. Kang has presented concerts sponsored by the Korea Monitor Art Center and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. She earned a Master of Music degree and the Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Conservatory, where she is currently enrolled in the DMA degree. She is a student of Ellen Mack. She is currently a faculty member at the Peabody Preparatory.
