Lenelle Morse
Violin
Lenelle Morse began studying the violin in her hometown of Memphis, TN. She graduated with a degree in violin performance and mathematics from Indiana University, Bloomington. For 13 years, Morse served as the assistant concertmaster of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, as well as a founding member of the Freimann String Quartet. She became the orchestra director at Canterbury School and grew the program from 12 students in 1997 to 147 in 2011. Additionally, Morse served as the chairman of the Fine Arts Department at Canterbury School. During the summers, she plays in the first violin section of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra in New York State. Morse has one son Jon, who plays the cello, and is a church youth director in Seattle, WA.
