The Summer Vocal Academy (SVA) is a 1-week intensive program for singers in middle to high school. Emphasis is on voice technique, musical phrasing, and interpretation of art songs as poems, so that the singer can become a channel for communicating the music and the words to the audience.

Morning activities include solo voice technique and repertoire classes. Afternoon enrichment includes English diction for singers, acting/poetry, stage movement, musicianship, stage makeup, and mastering the inner game of singing classes.
