Individual instruction in composition is available for pre-college students and adults at our Downtown Peabody Preparatory campus. Student works are performed and recorded in master class or recital settings 1-2 times each year. Prerequisites include a knowledge of traditional notation, proficiency in the fundamentals of music theory and instrumental or vocal study (or comparable experience). In order to be considered for lessons, please contact Dr. Adashi via email.

Individual Instruction

Individual composition instruction is available to adults, middle school and high school students, of all experience levels—from beginners through the most advanced levels of study. Lessons are scheduled at our Downtown Peabody Preparatory campus on an individual basis and are contingent upon teacher availability. Lessons are either 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes long.

For instruction in music theory, please see the Music Theory Department.
