Harlan D. Parker, Conductor

With typically about 80 musicians in its roster, the Peabody Wind Ensemble is one of the world’s preeminent wind orchestras. The ensemble performs four concerts each season with repertoire including not only standards from symphonic winds literature, but also a significant number of very contemporary works and frequent world premieres. One of the large ensembles of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, our members are from many locations around the U.S. and other countries, ranging from freshmen to graduate students here at America’s oldest music conservatory. We invite you to browse our pages to learn more about who we are and what we do, and we hope you will make it a point to attend our concerts.
