Shirley Yoo's home page
Keyboard Studies
Shirley Yoo received her D.M.A. from Peabody Conservatory and is currently teaching keyboard skills in the Theory Department. In addition to being staff accompanist at the Curtis Institute and teaching at several preparatory schools in Philadelphia, she is an active solo and chamber performer. Her major teachers include Raymond Hanson, Anne Koscielny, Noretta Conci-Leech, and Ellen Mack. Shirley earned her B.A. (Phi Beta Kappa) from Johns Hopkins University and was a Graduate Fellow while at the University of Maryland for her M.M. She also studied abroad at the Royal Academy of Music in London, England.
