Timothy Rinko-Gay began his training in Houston, Texas, with Angela Jackson and Barbara LeGault. He later moved to Carlisle, Pennsylvania, to study with Marcia Dale Weary and the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. He has had the opportunity to work with many distinguished teachers and choreographers, including Barbara Weisberger, Leslie Browne, Darla Hoover, and Alan Hineline. Towards the end of his training, Rinko-Gay started his career as a teacher for Weary. He has also taught for other ballet schools in the Central Pennsylvania area.
