New Victoria Chiang CD
A new CD by faculty artist Victoria Chiang was reviewed by Julie Amacher, host of Minnesota Public Radio's New Classical Tracks. On the recording, which features viola concertos by Franz Anton Hoffmeister and Carl Stamitz, Chiang performs with the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, conducted by fellow Peabody faculty artists Markand Thakar. Amacher praises Chiang's "spot-on intonation, precise articulation, and gorgeous phrasing [that] result in an emotionally elegant performance."
